sociali ci sembrano uno degli indicatori più evidenti della molteplicità identitaria che, al di là dell’immagine esterna, caratterizza questi luoghi, dei diversi gruppi e culture che li frequentano e delle relazioni d’accettazione e/o di conflitto che intercorrono tra loro. Le varie forme della militanza politica, le diverse culture riguardanti l’uso delle sostanze, segni e considerazioni personali, una forte componente ironica, sono tra le emergenze creative dei linguaggi raccolti.

che in molti comuni si è affermata contro il writing, alcuni affermati graffitisti hanno disseminato i luoghi di transito di alcune città del loro nome, segnato su etichette plastificate appiccicate ovunque. Le etichette che vedete qui accanto sono stata raccolte nella metropolitana di Roma e Milano.

The scribbles and writings that we collected in some Italian “centri sociali” seem to be a clear sign of the different identities who characterize those places, of the different groups and cultures that attend them and also of the acceptation/struggle dynamics they act beyond the formal image. From the collected signs we can recognize different “creative emergencies”: the different ways of doing politics, the various cultures on the use of drugs, some symbols and personal considerations and a big ironic component.
Another example of creativity as “identity dissociation”, when “another” identity is willingly created, is the metropolitan writing.
Lately some famous graffiti authors have plastered their name on labels that they attached all around the city walls, maybe as an answer to the repressive attitude of many municipalities against writing. The tags that you can see here were collected in the Underground, both in Rome and Milan.
